This is not a cliché.

A dragonfly in the pool.

I do not like water. It is not my element. I am more of a fire person, attracted by air, I am energy, I am heat, but how can I really call this water? It has an anomalous colour some days, blue other days, sometimes green, and now and again emerald. It flows at 42 degrees, comes out of the bowels of the earth from a source that is 300 metres from the hotel. It is advised not to stay more than 15 minutes immersed at a time, it is almost tangible, and deposits elements of ivory. I fear it somewhat because it comes from below, but it fascinates me. How can I possibly call it water?
