Illusionism is the art of making believe. It seems that the rabbit comes out of the hat top, as does the swarm of scarves. Illusionism is a theory that the material world is an illusion. Illusionism is a technique that uses images to deceive and raises the question of whether perception can give us a true and direct knowledge of the world. Can we trust our eyes, is the question we need to ask? Nature also creates false artistic masterpieces. The wonderful sunsets we admire are mere illusions. Even the random arrangement of objects in a space is an illusion. But we like to really believe in their existence and sometimes, like the white rabbit, they seem real.
