Black History Month

Mickalene Thomas, Moment's Pleasure

Black History Month is a month when every shade of black culture is celebrated to commemorate the tragic and still current events of the Afro-American communities and the history of the African diaspora. This recurring event is mainly observed in the United States of America and Canada in February, and the United Kingdom in October to remember, through exhibitions, events, gatherings and shows, that Afro-American culture is an integral part of our lives.
