The time of things
The great Orson Welles maintained that The camera is much more than a recording apparatus. It is a medium via which messages reach us from another world.
Which world did these objects come from? Whose hand arranged them? What creates this effect of suspension that endures the test of time and causes us to imagine something within us that we do not know how to decipher? Time is always the common denominator of all the images. Time that slips through your fingers and your eyes, the time of things, of people, the time of lights and emotions, a time that will never again be the same. But a time that is here, in front of us.
