Inauguration of 'Biraria L'Murin' with friends of the Südtirol Jazz Festival
The Südtirol Jazz Festival is now an institution throughout the region and when the organisers asked us to come on in on the calendar of events, we were more than pleased to do so. And, asa result, we have tried to combine a few things, just like a jam session. By now you know, from this season Murin becomes a Biraria, we opened a couple of weeks ago, but we want to do the opening party as it should be done, so what better occasion to celebrate the event than to the sound of Jazz? The organisers of the Festival have proposed a date, Monday, July 1, and we are going along with that. The date is perfect to celebrate the new Murin to the sound of music. And here's the programme: we start at 6pm with the Claire Parsons Quartet, a band that travels between Luxembourg, Holland, Belgium, France and England, musicians of different backgrounds adding their individual styles to the voice of the band-leader, who is considered a hard-core musician. It is a good example of European jazz without limits. From 8 p.m. onwards Blue Folks will play, they a very popular band in South Tyrol interpreting the greats of rock from the last decades in an unmistakable, personalised and original style and sound. It should be a lot of fun. Come along and join us.
