The fascination of this place
is not about what there is
but about what is missing.

This is not a cliché.

Peace, good food, surprises

How do you cook a canederlo? How many motorbikes does Ernesto have? What do you know about WWI? Do you know what it’s like to greet the sun as it rises, relax in the sauna, set a table, taste South Tyrolean wine, and run on the meadows of Armentarola? Our guests can now enjoy moments of learning and pleasure.
"We offer morning and afternoon summer activities open to all our guests every day for free: morning yoga to welcome the day with an open mind; our chef Nicola will teach you how to make a canederlo; visit Ernesto’s unique and rare motorbike collection, while Michil will share stories from WWI with you."
The mountains offer refuge from the daily grind of our modern society. Fresh mountain air fills our lungs, and the majestic landscape opens our eyes to the beauty of nature, letting us mellow in that sweet free time we finally have. We also head up to the mountains to let off some steam, and walk – or bike – across these vast lands blessed by nature; we head up here to find that necessary peace, recharge our batteries, drink a good drop of wine, and let ourselves go during a massage and relaxing swim. There’s not one single reason for you to head to the Dolomites, but they’re all right.
Yet at La Perla, we know that hospitality lives on in small gestures, in details that will make your mountain holiday sing with happiness. A crystal-clear note of happiness and love which we want to let slowly ring out, savouring the moment. A chime that may, at times, even surprise us.
We offer morning and afternoon summer activities open to all our guests every day for free: morning yoga to welcome the day with an open mind; our chef Nicola will teach you how to make a canederlo; visit Ernesto’s unique and rare motorbike collection, while Michil will share stories from WWI with you. Treat yourself to an Aufguss in the sauna, a purification and wellbeing ritual; enjoy South Tyrolean wine tastings, jog across the Armentarola meadows and rest in a typical mountain hut; enjoy the walks to the Pisciadù. Then there’s the risotto, the real deal, taught by chef Enzo in the Ladinia kitchen; learn how to set a beautiful table with seasonal fruit and vegetables; you can also enjoy our ‘shaker time’ taster class for an introduction on how to prepare cocktails.
These activities were developed for our guests so that they can learn something new every day and share the experience with other guests, as well as relishing in the timeless ambience of mountain life, leaving all their worries behind. Because La Perla is always open to everyone, and it unlocks your desire for a pleasant and relaxing stay every day. Welcome, dear guests, and don’t forget: besides our daily activities, our guides Marco, Linda, and Pippo are always ready to take you on beautiful hikes on the lovely and stunning Dolomites.
