Forgotten solutions to tricky jobs nr. 2

A volte ciò che ci sembra lontano, lo vorremmo vicino di nuovo. Perché l’appropriarsi del remoto ci dà sicurezza, serenità, pace. Vivere nella dimensione ‘Comfort’ del Perla vuole dire tutto questo.
“Useful indeed!”
The glass vases of  Signora Costa are always magnificently clean – a transparent cleanliness which I am jealous of.

... and especially when you realise that many of these vases are huge and in keeping with a grand hotel style! How is it possible? Can it be that a member of staff is dedicated full time to the task? No, definitely not in these times we have. Surely it happens to you too to see vase in a shop and to think of buying it and taking it home but when you realise that you would need to keep it clean you think twice!

Fear not for now you can take the vase of your choice home and when the time comes to empty and clean it all you need to do is to pour in some vinegar and add some large grains of salt of the type that DO NOT MELT and shake rigorously. Keep shaking so that the salt works against and removes any stains from the sides or bottom of the vase.

Then just rinse well and leave to dry.

You see -  the magic combination of salt and vinegar does the trick!
